Delicioso!
Because of the dish name, I was slightly disappointed by the final product - the beef was a bit too tough for Bourguignon, and there were no carrots. However! The wine sauce was divine, and the onions were perfectly cooked and still had a bit of texture to them. The wine sauce was outstanding, and I used some buttered bread to make sure I got every last drop!

Have had this twice now...
This is a great tasting winter comfort food! The beef is cooked right and a hint of wine gives this great texture and flavor. The second time, I admit, I added sour cream to had a little more fat and also works well that way.

Julia Childs Would Have Been Proud
Have taken the 8 hours to try & reproduce Julia Child's Classic recipe. For something I can defrost & heat up within 6-10 min, this is fantastic! Have had several times and love it. A bit dry when reheating leftovers, so I add a bit of beef or chicken stock to thin it out.
