The Logistics Planner position will report to and assist the Operations Manager. This position is accountable for maintaining service excellence with our internal and external customers through inventory management, continuous process improvement and prompt resolution of issues. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator and builds partnerships easily. You are extremely detail oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines independently. You also thrive in a fast-paced environment and can expertly complete multiple assignments and maneuver priorities effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
By Day, YOU will…
Collaborate with Sales team and Distribution Centers regarding order inquires
Process customer orders and coordinate with warehouse and carriers for shipping
Communicate with customers to obtain missing information or resolve discrepancies
Manage all inventory, from post-production to execution of transfers, storage, and distribution
Facilitate inventory transfers within our Third-party logistics warehouse systems
Complete documentation requirements (COA/release tracking) for Quality Assurance
Prepare and complete forms for cross border customs clearance purposes
Within our ERP system you will be responsible for fulfilling and receiving all sales orders and transfers, processing intercompany transactions, and running reports to manage inventory
Compile data for inventory reconciliation and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
Complete month end reconciliations and tasks to support the Finance department
Resolve billing disputes with carriers and warehouses
Identify process improvements to drive increased efficiency, productivity, and service levels
Additional special projects as needed in support of our company’s growth initiatives
What You’ll Need

3-5 years’ experience in Logistics/Supply Chain, ideally within a manufacturing / retail grocery environment
Flexible and adaptable workstyle. Able to shift quickly as priorities change.
Possess a strong attention to detail and can operate effortlessly in a high paced, highly dynamic environment.
Is proactive, takes initiative and results driven
Exceptional problem-solving skills
Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite is an asset
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
