Route Delivery Driver

Overview

The Route Delivery Driver represents Performance Kitchen in the market, delivering our healthy frozen meals to retail customers in the Pacific Northwest. Through world class market execution, the Route Delivery Driver’s primary focus is ensuring our customer’s freezer displays are maintained through strong store-level relationships, efficient delivery execution, and by fixating and maintaining promotional materials in store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver to our retail partners in the Seattle area such as QFC, Metropolitan Market and Haggen to restock freezer shelves, merchandise meals and maintain promotional material
  • Establish and maintain effective customer relationships during delivery and in store to maximize sales and ensure a positive experience with our brand throughout the process
  • Drive in store excellence by ensuring freezers are set in accordance with customer guidelines, and the seamless execution of promotional material in and around freezer doors
  • Execution of world class merchandising and proper rotation of all products to ensure the best quality and freshness
  • Responsible for taking and maintaining proper inventory counts and placing product orders as well as servicing customers in accordance with customers’ established service frequency patterns
  • Drives company route truck safely; safely loads and unloads the truck
  • Correctly completes logs and submits required documentation from deliveries on time
  • Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by supervisor

Desired Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred but not required
  • A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work
  • Previous experience in route delivery
  • Excellent customer service abilities required and account management skills a plus
  • Strong work ethic; able to work independently
  • Ability to professionally communicate with external customers and internal teams
  • Computer skills and proficiency is required
  • A valid driver’s license is required
  • Ability to work early mornings to accommodate store delivery windows
  • Must be at least 21 years of age per D.O.T. regulations
  • Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds on a regular basis, as well as routinely enter and exit a delivery vehicle
  • Must be able to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers
